The Annual Congress of the Central European Diabetes Association (CEDA) is taking place in Düsseldorf this year and will focus on diabetes and the heart, precision diabetology, and new therapeutic approaches.
Program
The scientific program focuses on topics of high clinical significance. These include, among others:
- Diabetes and cardiovascular disease (cardio-diabetes)
- Precision diabetology and the heterogeneity of diabetes
- Diabetes and comorbidities, especially liver disease, kidney disease and neuropathy
- Prevention through diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes
In addition, new therapeutic approaches, innovations in diabetes technology and current developments in obesity and diabetes-related complications will be comprehensively examined – topics that are of interest to both researchers and practicing physicians. The program will be supplemented by selected satellite symposia from renowned pharmaceutical companies.
